1. Who we are

The Harvey Foundation is the working name of The Trustee for Harvey Foundation, a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), based at 2c Prescott Tce, Toorak Gardens SA 5065. You can reach the trustees at any time at info@harveyfoundation.com.au.

2. What information we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us, typically when you:

• email us or submit an enquiry (your name, organisation, email address and message contents);
• make a grant enquiry (details about your charity, its work and its needs);
• make a donation (your name and transfer reference, so we can receipt and thank you);
• enter into a grant or partnership arrangement with the trust.

Our website forms open your own email application — the information you enter is sent by you, directly to us, as an ordinary email. This website itself does not store form submissions in a database.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and assess grant proposals;
• To administer grants, donations and receipts;
• To meet our legal and ACNC reporting obligations;
• To send occasional Foundation news you have asked to receive.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use your details for unrelated marketing.

4. Disclosure

Grant applications are shared with the trustees for assessment. We may disclose information to professional advisers (such as our accountant or auditor) bound by confidentiality, or where required by law — for example to the ACNC or the ATO.

5. Storage and security

Information you send us is held in our email account and in the trust's administrative records. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and retain financial records for the period required by Australian law.

6. Cookies and analytics

This is a static website. It does not set advertising cookies, does not use tracking pixels and does not run third-party analytics. Fonts and animation libraries load from public content delivery networks (Google Fonts, cdnjs, unpkg), which may record standard web server logs such as your IP address when those files are fetched.

7. Access and correction

You may ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing info@harveyfoundation.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time and at no charge.

8. Complaints

If you believe we have breached your privacy, please contact the trustees first so we can put it right. If you remain unsatisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with its revision date.
